A Singapore driving licence is valid for five years for foreigners. For Singapore citizens and permanent residents, the licence is valid until the holder’s 65th birthday, and then needs to be renewed every three years.
Foreigners holding a Singapore driving licence should renew it at the Traffic Police Department one month before the licence expires. No reminder letters are sent out.
