- Currently: The minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) required for ITE (Institute of Technical Education) students to progress to polytechnics is 2.0.
- Future Change: Starting from the 2027 polytechnic intake, the minimum GPA requirement for ITE students to transition to polytechnics will be raised to GPA 2.5.
