How to calculate n-level points

To calculate your GCE N-level (General Certificate of Education Normal Level) points, you’ll need to understand how the scoring system works; here’s how you can calculate your points:

  1. Assign Points to Grades:
    • A: 2 points
    • B: 1.5 points
    • C: 1 point
    • D: 0.5 points
  2. Calculate Your Aggregate Score:
    • Choose the subjects relevant to the course you’re interested in. For most courses, this includes English Language, Mathematics, and other specific subjects related to the course.
    • Add up the points for these subjects. For example, if you got an A in English (2 points), a B in Mathematics (1.5 points), and a C in a relevant subject (1 point), your aggregate score would be 4.5.
  3. Net Aggregate Score:
    • Some courses may have specific subject requirements. Check the admission criteria for the course you’re interested in.
    • Calculate your Net Aggregate Score by considering only the subjects that are relevant to the course.
