Is SIM government funded?

SIM University, now known as Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), was not fully government-funded like the autonomous universities in Singapore such as the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and Singapore Management University (SMU).

SUSS operated as a self-funded public university. While it did receive some government funding and support, it also relied on tuition fees, grants, research funding, and other sources of revenue to sustain its operations and provide education to its students. SUSS offered a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, often with a focus on social sciences and applied learning, catering to the needs of adult learners and working professionals.
