A valid Vehicle Inspection (VI) certificate issued by VICOM is generally valid for one year in Singapore. This means that you are required to renew your vehicle’s inspection annually.
It is generally a quick process and should not take more than 15 minutes to complete. However, as the inspection centre does not accept bookings, one may need to wait in line before being able to have the vehicle inspected. During peak hours between 11am and 2pm, expect longer waiting lines.
