Results of the 2023 GCE O- and A-Level Mid-Year Mother Tongue Language (MTL) examinations. The results of the 2023 Singapore-Cambridge GCE O- and A-Level Mid-Year Mother Tongue Language (MTL) examinations will be released on 17 August 2023 (Thursday) at 2.00pm.
It consists of two components, Reading aloud (10 marks) and Stimulus-based Conversation (20 marks ), and it accounts for 15% of the overall PSLE English score . Before the student meets the examiner, they have 5 minutes to prepare. The exam itself should last between 10 to 15 minutes.
Marking Days for PSLE are four days in October when the teachers are buried head-deep in marking the PSLE scripts, while the parents and children await the result day anxiously.
The PSLE written examinations are held annually from September to October. The exam dates are usually released by the Ministry of Education
