What GPA is required for Singapore polytechnic?

Typically, polytechnics in Singapore have a range of GPA requirements for their courses. Some highly competitive courses might have higher GPA requirements, while others could be more lenient. Higher Nitec students with a minimum GPA of 2.0 are invited to apply for admission. Students (with relevant disciplines) whose GPA is >= 3.5 may apply for direct entry to our diploma courses. Nitec students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5.

When applying to a polytechnic, it’s advisable to aim for a GPA that meets or exceeds the course’s historical admission cutoff to increase your chances of acceptance. Keep in mind that meeting the minimum GPA requirement doesn’t guarantee admission, especially for popular courses.
