What is CEA in Singapore?

CEA stands for Council for Estate Agencies in Singapore. It is a statutory board established under the Ministry of National Development in 2010 with the objective of regulating and promoting the real estate agency industry in Singapore. The Council’s responsibilities include licensing and regulating salespersons, sales agencies and property agencies, setting and enforcing ethical and professional standards, and conducting investigations and taking disciplinary action against errant practitioners.

The CEA aims to protect the interests of consumers and enhance the reputation of the real estate industry in Singapore by promoting transparency, professionalism and ethical business practices among real estate practitioners.
