Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE)
The Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE) allows applicants with other local qualifications to apply for admission to our full-time diploma courses.
Admission is based on academic merit and subject to available vacancies of the diploma courses.
Who can apply?
Applicants who have completed Year 4 of the Integrated Programme (IP) in Singapore, as well as those who have graduated from IP schools. Eligibility is similar to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level.
Entry Requirements
Same MER as GCE O-Level. Applicants should meet the course-specific Minimum Entry Requirements (MER) of GCE ‘O’ levels.

When and How to apply?
- The DAE application schedule is as follows:
- Application is made online through the DAE Application Portal. Please refer to our User Guide on how to apply.
- You may indicate up to 3 course choices in your application
- Please consider your choices very carefully, and check that all your information entered are accurate before submitting the application, as you will not be able to make any amendments upon submission.

- The outcome of your DAE application will be sent to your email account (indicated in your DAE application) on the following date:
Enrolment
If your application is successful, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the online enrolment within 3-4 weeks.
