The processing time for a passport is around four to six weeks upon ICA’s receipt of the application, if you have submitted all the necessary documents. The processing time will be longer if your photograph does not meet the requirements. You will be notified of the outcome by email.

It is possible to renew your passport at almost any time within its validity period. However, it is only recommended to do so more than 9 months to 1 year ahead of its expiry for a legitimate reason.
Singapore allows eligible citizens to renew their passports online through the “SG Arrival Card and SG-Passport” mobile app or through the official website of the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA) via http://www.ica.gov.sg/, (passport would be ready in 3-4 weeks, please indicate that the collection point is in HCMC)
