What does SLA do Singapore?

The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Law. We optimise land resources for the economic and social development of Singapore. This is important as land is used for a wide range of activities in Singapore.

SLA handles the registration of all property transactions and regulates the process of property boundary survey (cadastral survey) in Singapore. We also process application by foreign persons who wish to purchase a landed residential property in Singapore.

SLA develops support and encourage the adoption of Geospatial data, services and technologies as part of the government’s move towards a Smart Nation.
